Invisible Children longboard for Vans Warped Tour 2011
Recently I was contacted by Concrete Wave Magazine to participate in their Passport Program for the Vans Warped Tour 2011. My brief was to choose a non profit organisation from a list of eleven, and with them in mind, paint a longboard so that it reflects or captures the spirit of the chosen organisation. I went with Invisible Children, an organisation that helps the children of Uganda. This deck was featured at the Concrete Wave booth throughout the Vans Warped Tour and was also featured in both the online and print version of the 10th year anniversary issue of the magazine. At the end of the tour the board was auctioned off and all the proceeds went to Invisible Children.
